POSITION SUMMARY

As the Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth across Ceha Canada's business-to-consumer (B2C) sales channels. This role focuses on developing and expanding relationships with retailers, e-commerce platforms, marketplace partners, distributors, and omni-channel sales channels. You will identify new business opportunities, strengthen existing partnerships, and implement sales strategies that increase market share and brand presence across Canada and other target markets.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Working closely with internal teams, you will ensure the successful execution of sales initiatives, product launches, promotional activities, and channel development strategies.

Business Development & Channel Growth

- Develop and execute strategies to grow B2C sales across retail, e-commerce, marketplace, and omni-channel partners.
- Identify, prospect, and secure new retail accounts, distributors, dealers, and strategic sales partners.
- Expand existing customer relationships to increase product listings, market penetration, and sales volume.
- Negotiate commercial agreements, pricing, promotional programs, and annual business plans with retail partners.

Account Management




- Build and maintain strong relationships with key retailers, distributors, category managers, buyers, and marketplace partners.
- Conduct regular business reviews and identify opportunities to improve sales performance.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by providing responsive service and resolving commercial issues promptly.

Sales & Revenue Growth
- Achieve or exceed annual sales and profitability targets.
- Develop sales forecasts and account plans aligned with company objectives.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support promotional campaigns, inventory planning, and new product launches.

Omni-Channel Strategy
- Manage and grow sales through multiple channels, including:
- National and regional retailers
- E-commerce partners
- Online marketplaces
- Dealer and distributor networks
- Monitor consumer buying trends and recommend strategies to maximize channel performance.

Market Analysis
- Monitor competitor activity, pricing, product trends, and customer feedback.
- Identify new product opportunities and emerging market segments.
- Provide recommendations to management regarding market expansion and growth initiatives.
- Support new product launches and go-to-market strategies.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with marketing, operations, logistics, finance, purchasing, and product development teams.
- Ensure customer requirements are clearly communicated and properly executed.
- Support inventory planning based on sales forecasts and market demand.
- Help resolve customer, delivery, pricing,



and product-related issues.
- Ensure commercial commitments are aligned with company capabilities and profitability objectives.

Reporting & Administration
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts, account records, and CRM updates.
- Prepare monthly sales reports, pipeline updates, and business development plans.
- Track key performance indicators and recommend corrective actions where necessary.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in business development, account management, or sales within consumer products, furniture, retail, or a related e-commerce or Omnichannel industry.
- Demonstrated success managing retail accounts and omni-channel sales strategies.
- Experience working with major retailers, distributors, e-commerce platforms, and online marketplaces.
- Solid negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to travel as required for customer meetings and industry events.

Preferred Experience Experience with one or more of the following would be considered an asset:
- Major Canadian or U.S. retailers
- Amazon, Wayfair, Home Depot, Costco, RONA, or similar marketplaces/retailers
- Private-label or OEM business
- Furniture, storage, office furniture, home improvement, or related industries
- Retail buying and merchandising
- Omnichannel strategy

COMPENSATION
- Salary: Fixed, plus commission.
- Full-time, permanent position.

SCHEDULE
- Monday to Friday
- 8-hour shifts
