Business Systems Analyst – AML Technologies

Key Responsibilities





- Gather and document AML compliance, regulatory, and business requirements
- Translate business needs into functional specifications for AML technology solutions
- Support AML systems including transaction monitoring, sanctions screening, and regulatory reporting processes
- Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend system enhancements
- Analyze transaction data, system outputs, and user feedback to improve system effectiveness
- Maintain business and system documentation, workflows, and change requests
- Ensure AML technology solutions align with regulatory and compliance requirements
- Collaborate with Compliance, Technology, Business, and third-party vendors to deliver solutions

Must-Have Skills

- Strong Business Systems Analysis experience within Banking or Financial Services
- Hands-on experience with AML / Financial Crimes technology platforms
- Knowledge of AML, KYC, transaction monitoring, sanctions screening, and risk assessment processes
- Proficiency in SQL, data analysis, and reporting
- Experience gathering requirements, creating functional specifications, and managing stakeholder expectations
- Understanding of APIs, system integrations, and workflow automation
- Strong analytical,



problem-solving, and documentation skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Nice-to-Have Skills

- Experience with AML platforms such as Actimize, Fenergo, SAS AML, Oracle FCCM, or similar
- Exposure to reporting and visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau
- Knowledge of FinCEN, OSFI, and other AML regulatory frameworks
- CAMS (Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist) certification
- Experience working with Compliance, Financial Crimes, or Risk Management teams in large banking environments

Salary Range - CA$ 90,000 - CA$ 110,000 Per Year TCS does not use artificial intelligence tools for candidate screening or evaluation. This post is for a current vacancy. The hiring process includes an initial screening, followed by a technical evaluation and managerial discussion.
