Job Title: Business Systems Analyst (BSA) Data Engineering / Data Analytics

Location: Toronto, ON (4x onsite a week)

Employment Type: Contract

Pay Rate: CAD$50/HR INC

Interview Type: Face 2 Face (Onsite Interview Only)

We are looking for a Business Systems Analyst (60%) with Data Engineering/Data Analytics (40%) experience. The ideal candidate will gather business requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and work closely with Data Engineering teams. Candidates with BSA + Data Analyst experience are also encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements (BRDs, FRDs, User Stories).
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, developers, QA, and Data Engineering teams.
- Perform data analysis, validation, and data quality checks using SQL.
- Support ETL/ELT processes, data mapping,



and data warehousing initiatives.
- Create process flows, support UAT, and participate in Agile ceremonies.
- Develop dashboards and reports using BI tools.

Required Skills

- 6+ years of Business Systems Analysis experience.
- Solid SQL and data analysis skills.
- Experience with Data Engineering or Data Analytics.
- Knowledge of ETL/ELT and data warehousing.
- Agile/Scrum experience.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
