Job Summary This Business Support Specialist will support the Research and Marketing Coordinator to manage the Celebrate Markham Program from intake to final report. Which also includes support with applicant evaluations. The Celebrate Markham Program has seen tremendous growth which speaks to the quality of the program. The increase in growth requires additional staff support on an ongoing basis.

This position will also provide support related to department wide system administration, including but not limited to MLC, Xplor and EPIC. The Research and Marketing Coordinator is the Department Administrator for corporate wide systems. This position will help support and troubleshoot various technology systems.

Key Duties And Responsibilities

- Working under the direction of the Research and Marketing Coordinator.
- Assists with the review and updates of the Celebrate Markham Guidelines.
- Assists with Celebrate Markham Program from intake to final evaluations. This includes working with applicants to complete the application,



completing evaluations and working with the evaluation team. Reviewing applicant final reports and client follow up.
- Assisting Research and Marketing Coordinator with support and troubleshooting business systems including but not limited to Xplor, MCL and EPIC. Providing support to staff and clients as it pertains to these systems.
- Provides training to staff and clients on the Celebrate Markham Program. Provides training to staff on all other business systems identified for the role.
- Provides regular updates and reports as determined by the Research and Marketing Coordinator, or as required.
- Provides assistance with other department activities as assigned.

Qualifications

- Undergraduate degree from a recognized university.
- Minimum 2 years related work experience, ideally in a municipal setting.
- Demonstrated project management experience is an asset.
- Previous experience in community engagement is an asset.
- Previous customer service experience.
- Previous office setting experience.
