Responsibilities

- Skillfully cut, trim, and prepare various types of meat according to established standards and customer requests
- Ensure all meat products are handled safely, adhering strictly to food safety regulations and hygiene practices
- Package meat products efficiently while maintaining quality and presentation standards
- Maintain cleanliness of work stations, tools, and equipment to promote a secure and sanitary environment
- Assist customers with their selections, providing knowledgeable advice on cuts and preparation methods




- Follow proper food handling procedures during all stages of meat processing to prevent contamination
- Collaborate with team members to manage inventory levels and restock displays as needed

Skills

- Proven experience in the food industry, particularly in food preparation or butchery
- Strong knowledge of meat cutting techniques and food safety protocols
- Excellent food handling skills with an eye for detail and quality control
- Ability to operate knives, saws, scales, and packaging equipment safely and efficiently
- Good customer service skills with a friendly, approachable attitude
- Familiarity with kitchen environments and food packaging standards
- Ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced setting while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
