Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and versatile Cafe All-Rounder to join our vibrant team! As a key team member, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, preparing delicious food and beverages, handling transactions efficiently, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.

Duties

- Welcome customers warmly and provide attentive service throughout their visit
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other drinks as per standard recipes
- Assist with food preparation, including assembling sandwiches, salads, and light snacks
- Operate POS systems such as Micros POS to process orders accurately and handle cash or card payments with precision
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cafe area, including food handling and safety standards
- Manage cashiering duties, including cash handling, balancing registers, and issuing receipts
- Support stock replenishment by monitoring inventory levels and restocking supplies as needed




- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures

Requirements

- Previous experience in food service or the hospitality industry is preferred but not essential—training will be provided!
- Barista experience is highly desirable to craft quality coffee beverages efficiently
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS for smooth transaction processing
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude
- Excellent time management skills to juggle multiple tasks seamlessly during busy periods
- Basic math skills for cash handling, giving correct change, and managing register totals
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work flexible hours including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
