Our Class 1 PPM Drivers are responsible for safely transporting freight, completing timely pickups and deliveries, and maintaining a high standard of safety and professionalism.

Position Summary CommerceLink Logistics is looking for dedicated and safety-oriented Class 1, Pay Per Mile Drivers to join our team at our Calgary and Nisku Locations in Alberta Openings Available Nisku LCV PPM – 4 Open Positions Calgary PPM – 11 Open Positions Key Responsibilities Operate Class 1 tractor-trailer units safely on assigned routes

Perform timely pickup and delivery of freight

Complete pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections

Ensure proper securement of all loads in compliance with safety regulations

Maintain accurate electronic or paper logbooks, with E-Logs preferred

Comply with all applicable provincial and Canadian transportation regulations, including Hours of Service

Communicate effectively with Dispatch regarding routes, delays, and updates

Provide professional customer service at pickup and delivery locations

Report incidents, delays, equipment concerns, and mechanical issues promptly

Follow all CommerceLink Logistics policies,



procedures, and safety standards Qualifications Valid Class 1 Driver’s License

Clean driver’s abstract and solid safety record

Minimum 2 years of Class 1 driving experience

Knowledge of local and regional routes

Experience with dry van, reefer, and heater equipment is an asset

Strong understanding of transportation safety regulations LCV Additional Qualifications 1 year of LCV prior experience is required for positions involving LCV operations

Experience building and breaking LCV sets is required for positions involving LCV operations
