Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and versatile Carpenter to join our construction and manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will possess a broad range of technical skills, including blueprint reading, carpentry, and proficiency with hand and power tools. This role involves performing various construction, restoration, and fabrication tasks to support diverse projects.

The person will be responsible for ensuring quality workmanship, adhering to safety standards, and contributing to the successful completion of projects across multiple trades.

Responsibilities

- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to accurately execute project requirements
- Perform tile laying, siding, roofing, and siding installation
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and other equipment safely and efficiently
- Conduct carpentry tasks including framing, cabinetry installation, and assembly.
- Assist with construction painting, caulking, heavy lifting, and other finishing tasks




- Support restoration projects by repairing or replacing damaged structures or materials
- Measure materials accurately for construction estimating purposes
- Maintain a clean work setting and ensure compliance with safety protocols at all times

Requirements

- Proven experience in construction trades such as carpentry, roofing, or related fields
- Knowledge of blueprint reading and schematics for various construction applications
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment safely
- Experience with siding installation, framing, and roofing preferred
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and work in physically demanding environments
- Handyman experience or general construction background highly desirable
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Valid driver’s license

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $22.50-$30.00 per hour
