Casa Montessori Teacher for ages 3 to 6 years of age

Job Duties

- Excellent written and oral communication.
- Assess the developmental level of children. Prepare progress reports.
- Solid leadership skills. Responsible and independent.
- Creative, hard-working team player, energetic, and flexible.
- Establish and maintain Montessori classroom culture, prepare material, and maintain all units of study
- Develop and implement daily activities for children
- Nurtures independence, self-esteem, and success in students
- Classroom management
- Parent communication
- Enthusiastic, creative, energetic, and nurturing
- Ability to teach basic French to Casa students 3 hours per week





Qualifications:
- Accredited Montessori Teacher with a MACTE or AMI approved Montessori Diploma in Early Childhood
- Working childcare experience at least 3 years (an asset)
- Police Reference Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening no more than 6 months old
- Standard First Aid and CPR Level C certification
- Up to Date Immunizations

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
