Responsibilities

- Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service throughout their visit
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process cash, credit, debit, and mobile payments
- Handle cash transactions with precision, including giving change and balancing registers at shift end
- Assist customers with product inquiries, upselling opportunities, and product demos to enhance their shopping experience
- Maintain organized merchandising displays and ensure shelves are stocked and tidy
- Follow proper phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely




- Manage time effectively to serve multiple customers efficiently during busy periods

Requirements

- Previous retail sales or cashiering experience preferred, especially in fast-paced environments
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy
- Knowledge of POS systems and familiarity with retail merchandising standards
- Excellent organizational skills to keep work areas neat and manage multiple tasks seamlessly
- Ability to demonstrate technical sales experience, including product demos when needed
- Customer service orientation with a friendly attitude and professional phone etiquette
- Multilingual skills are highly valued to connect with a broader customer demographic
- Demonstrated time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a dynamic setting
