Role Description This full-time CGSB Level 2 MT & CEDO role is a hybrid position based in White City, SK, with a mix of on-site work at client locations and some work-from-home for documentation and reporting. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing Magnetic Particle Testing (MT) and operating CEDO-authorized equipment in accordance with CGSB, industry, and client standards. The role involves conducting non-destructive examinations on various components, preparing clear and accurate inspection reports, and communicating findings to project managers and clients.

The individual will follow all safety procedures, participate in pre-job planning, maintain inspection equipment, and support quality control processes. Collaboration with other technicians, adherence to regulatory requirements,



and timely completion of assigned inspections are key aspects of the position.

Qualifications

CGSB Level 2 MT certification and valid CEDO authorization, with strong practical experience in non-destructive testing.

Knowledge of applicable codes, standards, and regulations in the oil and energy sector (e.g., CGSB, CSA, ASME, industry-specific client requirements).

Ability to accurately interpret indications, evaluate results, and produce clear, concise inspection reports using basic computer and documentation tools.

Strong commitment to safety, including familiarity with field safety procedures, hazard identification, and use of personal protective equipment.

Effective interpersonal and communication skills to work with clients, supervisors, and team members in both field and office environments.

Capability to work in a hybrid arrangement, including travel to job sites from White City, SK, and performing tasks independently with minimal supervision.

Physical ability to perform field work, including standing for extended periods, working in wide-ranging outdoor conditions, and handling inspection equipment.

Previous experience in oil and energy inspections or related industrial environments; additional NDT certifications are considered an asset.
