Role Description This is a full-time, in office Class 1 and Class 3 Drivers role based in Victoria, BC. Drivers are responsible for safely operating company trucks to deliver building materials to customer locations and branches in a timely and efficient manner.

Day-to-day tasks include loading and securing materials, performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections, following all traffic and safety regulations, and maintaining accurate delivery documentation. Drivers interact with customers on site, provide courteous service,



and coordinate with dispatch and warehouse teams to ensure accurate and complete deliveries. The role also involves keeping vehicles clean and well-maintained, reporting any mechanical issues, and contributing to a safe and respectful workplace.

Qualifications

- Strong truck operation skills, including Truck Driving and experience with commercial Truck equipment.
- Valid CDL Class A or equivalent Class 1 license, and Class 3 license as required for the role.
- Effective Communication skills to coordinate with dispatch, teammates, and customers.
- Proven Customer Service abilities with a focus on professionalism, reliability, and respectful interactions.
- Clean driving record and knowledge of applicable transportation and safety regulations.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as loading and unloading materials, and securing loads safely.
- Attention to detail for completing delivery paperwork, inspections, and following routing instructions.
- Previous experience in building materials delivery, construction supply, or related industries is an asset.
- Commitment to working safely in all weather conditions and adhering to company safety policies.
