Class 1 Flat Deck Driver

Loadstar Dispatchers (1963) Ltd. is an Alberta-owned and operated transportation company based in Edmonton. For more than 60 years, we have provided transportation, logistics, and storage solutions to the oil and gas, power, utility, and industrial sectors throughout Western Canada.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking experienced Class 1 Flat Deck Drivers to join our team. We offer well-maintained equipment, stable year-round employment, competitive wages, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities

- Safely transport flat-deck freight throughout Alberta and Western Canada
- Properly secure loads using straps, chains, binders, and other required equipment
- Complete accurate pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain all required logs, permits, and transportation documents
- Comply with company, customer, and regulatory safety requirements
- Represent Loadstar professionally when dealing with customers and field personnel
- Adapt to changing schedules and assignments in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications
- Valid Class 1 driver’s licence
- Minimum three years of Class 1 driving experience required
- Acceptable commercial driver’s abstract




- Solid written and spoken English skills are required
- Ability to clearly understand safety instructions, communicate with dispatch and customers, and complete required documentation
- Strong commitment to safety and regulatory compliance
- Reliable, and dependable
- Excellent work ethic and customer-service skills
- Physically capable of installing tire chains and securing loads with straps, chains, and binders
