Position summary:

The Clinical Operations Coordinator is responsible for supporting and performing day-to-day operational tasks for the Post-Traumatic Stress Injury (PTSI) Centre of Excellence. This role coordinates and executes assigned tasks, supports program development, and works closely with internal and external stakeholders to support the implementation of clinical workflows, documentation templates and standards, and operational processes.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Execute and support operational, clinical, and program tasks as assigned
- Coordinate implementation activities required to establish and continuously improve the PTSI Centre of Excellence
- Serve as the primary operational liaison with the electronic health record (EHR) vendor to design, test, refine, and implement clinical documentation templates, assessment forms, workflows, billing forms and documentation
- Continuous validation and optimization of clinical workflows within the EHR to improve efficiency, documentation quality, and ensure regulatory compliance
- Coordinate user acceptance testing, issue tracking,



workflow mapping, and implementation of EHR enhancements
- Develop clinical forms, standardized documentation, order sets, assessment tools, and workflow resources in collaboration with clinicians and subject matter experts
- Coordinate meetings, action items, timelines, and follow-up with internal and external stakeholders
- Support development of policies, procedures, clinical pathways, referral processes, educational materials, and operational resources
- Collect and analyze operational and quality data and prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations
- Support program evaluation, quality improvement initiatives, accreditation readiness, and implementation of new clinical processes
- Assist with onboarding materials, clinical training coordination, and change management activities related to new workflows and systems
- Perform other duties and support other projects as assigned

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications/experience:

- Bachelor’s Degree in healthcare-related discipline and registered in good standing with respective regulatory body; OR combination of education and relevant experience required
- Minimum 3 years of direct experience in a clinical role, which may include health informatics, clinical operations or direct patient care
- Demonstrated understanding of clinical workflows, patient care processes, and patient journey
- Experience collaborating and seamlessly communicate with physicians, nurses, allied health professionals, senior leadership, as well as external stakeholders
- Proven ability to translate clinical needs into operational or technical solutions
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving,



and relationship-building abilities
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills; experience with healthcare information systems
