The Interprofessional
Practice and Learning team seeks a Clinical Nurse Educator to lead initiatives in collaborative, person-centered care. This role requires solid competencies in program design, implementation, and evaluation. You will leverage evidence-based practices to improve health outcomes while fostering a culture of learning among nursing staff. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement educational programs for nursing staff
- Evaluate and support clinical knowledge translation
- Monitor and report on educational outcomes
- Provide consultation on evidence-based standards of care
- Foster collaborative learning and practices across teams Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing required
- Minimum three years of clinical experience in Medical-Surgical nursing
- Active nursing license in good standing
- CNA Certification or specialty certification required
- Previous teaching experience preferred Enhance collaborative nursing practices while supporting training initiatives at Nova Scotia Health in Central Zone.
