Overview

LORICA Equipment is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented CNC Fabric & Trims Cutter to join our growing production team.

In this role, you will operate CNC fabric cutting machines and automatic trim cutting equipment to prepare materials for production. You will play an important role in ensuring our products are manufactured accurately, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

Whether you already have experience with CNC cutting equipment or are eager to learn, we provide comprehensive training to help you succeed.

Responsibilities

- Operate CNC cutting machines to cut fabric and other textile materials.
- Operate automatic cutting equipment for elastics, webbing, hook-and-loop (Velcro®), binding, and other trims.
- Load and unload materials safely and efficiently.
- Inspect fabrics and trims for defects before cutting and report any quality concerns.
- Prepare, organize, label, and bundle cut components for the sewing department.
- Ensure the correct quantities, sizes, and styles are cut for each production order.
- Perform routine machine cleaning and preventative maintenance.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.




- Work closely with the Production Manager to improve production efficiency and workflow.
- Collaborate with the production team to meet daily and weekly production targets.
- Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience operating CNC cutting equipment, manufacturing machinery, or production equipment is an asset but not required.
- We are happy to train motivated individuals with a strong work ethic.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work efficiently while meeting production deadlines.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Positive attitude and ability to work effectively in a team workplace.
- Comfortable standing for extended periods.
- Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs.

Pay: $21.00-$25.00 per hour
