Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated CNC Mill Operator / Machinist to join our Machine Shop team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC milling machines to manufacture precision components in accordance with technical drawings, production requirements, and quality standards. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced manufacturing environment while supporting continuous improvement, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC milling machines to produce precision parts according to production work orders, technical drawings, and datasheets.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and manufacturing specifications.
- Operate and maintain shop equipment including bench grinders, band saws, and stamping machines.
- Inspect finished components and ensure compliance with quality standards and customer requirements.
- Work in accordance with the Company Quality System and ISO 9001 procedures.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and Kaizen Events.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Machine Shop Supervisor
Requirements
- High School Diploma (Grade 12) is required.
- Previous CNC machining or manufacturing experience preferred.
- Experience working with Fanuc CNC controls.
- Good mathematical skills and strong mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Solid attention to detail and manual dexterity.
- Willingness to work overtime as required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Post-secondary education or training in machining, manufacturing, or a related field.
- Understanding ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
- Experience operating a variety of machine shop equipment.
- Experience participating in continuous improvement initiatives or Kaizen Events.

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
