Responsibilities

- Consult with clients to understand their hair goals, preferences, and lifestyle needs, ensuring clear communication throughout the service
- Perform professional hair coloring techniques, including balayage, highlights, root touch-ups, and creative color applications with precision and artistry
- Deliver expert hair styling services such as cuts, blowouts, updos, and special occasion styles tailored to each client’s vision
- Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by thoroughly cleaning tools and workstations after each client to ensure a safe environment
- Engage in retail sales by recommending suitable hair care products and styling tools that enhance client results and satisfaction




- Provide outstanding customer service by creating a welcoming atmosphere, listening attentively, and addressing client questions or concerns confidently
- Assist at the front desk by scheduling appointments, managing walk-ins, processing transactions, and maintaining an organized salon flow

Experience

- Proven experience as a Hair Stylist or Color Specialist with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse coloring techniques and styling skills
- Excellent communication skills to effectively connect with clients and team members
- Demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced salon setting
- Knowledge of sanitation protocols and best practices for maintaining a hygienic workspace
- Ability to upsell products confidently while prioritizing client needs and preferences
- Previous retail sales experience is a plus but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential
