Overview

We are seeking a dynamic Commercial Construction Estimator to join our team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for commercial construction and service projects, helping us win bids and deliver projects within budget. Your expertise in construction estimating, project management, and negotiation will drive our success as you collaborate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to develop competitive proposals.

Responsibilities

- Review project plans, specifications, and bid documents to develop comprehensive estimates.
- Collaborate with project managers and clients to understand project scope and requirements.
- Conduct site visits to assess conditions that impact pricing and scheduling.
- Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing and terms.
- Prepare bid proposals, including detailed breakdowns of costs, schedules, and assumptions.




- Assist in project management activities by providing cost control insights throughout the project lifecycle.

Skills
- Proven experience in construction estimating within commercial projects.
- Strong proficiency with Bluebeam, HeavyBid, and other estimating or project management software and or excell
- Excellent negotiation skills to secure favorable pricing and terms.
- Solid understanding of construction processes, materials, and pricing strategies.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Ability to interpret complex plans, specifications, and technical documents.
- Construction experience that demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of project workflows and costs.
