What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for a skilled and reliable Fabricator/Upfitter to join our team in Lethbridge. You’ll be responsible for complete truck body builds, including the installation, wiring, hydraulics, mounting, and assembly of components and accessories on commercial trucks.
The ideal candidate has strong fabrication and welding skills, along with solid mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical experience in the truck upfitting industry, and takes pride in doing their job.

We build, customize, and accessorize trucks, including but not limited to grain and gravel bodies, flatbeds, cranes, lift gates, and snow and ice equipment. What You’ll Bring to the Team
Skills & Experience
- Strong understanding of current truck upfitter interface components
- Experience in truck upfitting or commercial vehicle builds
- Fabrication and welding proficiency, including structural and accessory components such as ramps, hitches, mounts, and gates
- Electrical systems competence, including controls, lighting, strobes, PTOs, and powered accessories
- Hydraulic systems knowledge, including component mounting, plumbing, valving, and diagnostic troubleshooting
- Ability to read and follow work orders, installation diagrams, and blueprints
- Mechanically minded with a strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Ability to supply basic personal tools; strong knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment (some tools provided by HoriZon)
- Valid driver’s license
Role Duties & Responsibilities
- Fabricate, install, modify, wire, mount, and assemble truck bodies, components, and accessories on commercial trucks as needed, including ramps, hitches, mounts, gates, and related parts
- Mount hydraulic systems, install plumbing and valving, and troubleshoot systems as needed
- Ensure all components are installed to manufacturer, CMVSS, and company specifications
- Take ownership of build quality and completeness for assigned projects prior to final sign-off
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and implement effective solutions
- Work independently and as part of a team to complete projects efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards
- Communicate clearly with supervisors and quality control regarding progress and issues
- Follow all shop safety procedures and operate tools and equipment in a safe, responsible manner
- Maintain an efficient, clean, secure, and organized work area
- Manage multiple workflows while maintaining timelines and quality
- Remain open to learning, skill development, and supporting a positive team environment

Pay: $25.00-$40.00 per hour

Education:
