About Mississauga United FC

Mississauga United FC is a growing youth soccer club serving players and families in Mississauga. We provide structured recreational, development, and competitive programs designed to help young athletes improve their technical ability, tactical understanding, confidence, and love of the game.

As our competitive program continues to grow, we are seeking experienced and licensed soccer coaches to lead youth rep teams in a positive, professional, and player-centred environment.

The Opportunity The Competitive Youth Soccer Coach will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality training sessions, leading the team during league and tournament matches, and supporting the long-term development of each player.

This is a part-time paid coaching opportunity for a dependable coach who understands competitive youth soccer and wants to grow with an ambitious community club.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and deliver age-appropriate, engaging, and progressive training sessions
- Coach the team during league games, exhibition matches, tournaments, and other scheduled competitions
- Develop players’ technical skills, tactical awareness, decision-making, fitness, and confidence
- Create a positive, disciplined, inclusive, and competitive team environment
- Provide constructive feedback to players and communicate professionally with parents
- Track player development and contribute to player evaluations and team selections
- Work collaboratively with the club’s technical leadership and other coaches
- Follow the club’s player-development philosophy, policies, and code of conduct
- Maintain accurate attendance and team information when required




- Promote sportsmanship, teamwork, accountability, and respect

Qualifications

- Previous experience coaching competitive or rep-level youth soccer
- Valid Canada Soccer or Ontario Soccer coaching certification appropriate to the team’s age and competition level
- Canada Soccer C Diploma or higher is preferred
- Strong understanding of youth player development and age-appropriate coaching methods
- Excellent leadership, organization, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to establish positive relationships with youth players and their families
- Reliable transportation and the ability to travel to games and tournaments within the Greater Toronto Area
- Availability on weekday evenings and weekends
- Current First Aid and CPR certification, or willingness to obtain it
- Successful Vulnerable Sector Check required before beginning the position
- Legally entitled to work in Canada

Additional Assets
- Experience coaching in an Ontario competitive league
- Higher-level Canada Soccer, UEFA, United Soccer Coaches, or equivalent recognized certification
- Competitive playing experience
- Goalkeeper coaching experience
- Experience coaching female players or girls’ competitive teams
- Ability to support additional club programs, camps, or player-development sessions





Schedule This is a part-time position involving weekday evening training sessions and weekend games. Additional exhibition games, tournaments, team meetings, and player evaluations may be scheduled during the season.

Compensation

$30–$45 per hour, based on coaching licence, competitive coaching experience, team assignment, and scope of responsibilities.
