Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Companion/Caregiver to provide exceptional support and companionship to a palliative client in need of assistance with daily living activities. Duties

- Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and comfort

- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed, ensuring dietary restrictions are followed

- Provide companionship through engaging conversations, recreational activities, and emotional support to reduce feelings of loneliness

- Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and organizing to maintain a safe and welcoming workplace

- Support clients with mobility and transfer techniques safely,



including heavy lifting when necessary

- Monitor health status by observing changes in condition and reporting concerns promptly to supervisors or family members

Experience

- Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home care environments is highly preferred

- Proven background in patient care, senior care, or hospice care demonstrating compassion and professionalism

- Familiarity with cleaning routines and maintaining hygiene standards within a caregiving context

- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while assisting clients with mobility challenges

- Strong communication skills coupled with patience and empathy to build trusting relationships with clients and their families

Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
