Role Description The Site Foreman is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Toronto Area, Canada, responsible for overseeing daily construction activities and ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and to specification. This role coordinates crews, assigns tasks, and monitors progress, providing clear direction and support to team members throughout each shift.

The Site

Foreman communicates site needs, and resolves issues that may affect timelines or quality. Daily responsibilities include organizing materials and equipment, inspecting work for compliance with drawings and codes, maintaining site safety standards, and completing required reports and documentation. The role also involves troubleshooting site challenges, mentoring newer team members, and promoting a productive,



respectful work environment.

Qualifications

- Solid supervisory skills with experience leading construction crews and coordinating day-to-day site operations.
- Hands-on experience with heavy equipment typically used on forming or construction sites, with a focus on safe operation.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with workers, management, subcontractors, and inspectors, both verbally and in writing.
- Practical carpentry skills with experience in concrete forming and reading construction drawings.
- Ability to perform and oversee maintenance of tools, equipment, and temporary structures to keep the site safe and efficient.
- Knowledge of construction safety standards, local building codes, and best practices for site organization.
- Previous experience as a Site Foreman, Lead Hand, or similar construction leadership role is strongly preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to various sites within the Greater Toronto Area.
- Relevant trade certification or technical training in construction or carpentry is an asset.

Pay: $20.00-$100.00 per hour
