We are seeking a energetic and skilled Construction/Industrial/apprentice Electrician to join our team and contribute to a variety of electrical projects within industrial and construction settings. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse renovation, installation, and maintenance tasks, ensuring electrical systems operate safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in electrical work, a proactive attitude, and a passion for problem-solving in fast-paced environments.
Your expertise will help keep projects on track while adhering to safety standards and technical specifications. Wages will depend on experience and work ethic. Applicant must have a minimum of 2 year of work experience and be a registered apprentice or journey person.
Duties
- Install, maintain, and upgrade electrical wiring, fixtures, panels, and low voltage systems across industrial facilities or construction sites.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete wiring tasks, conduit bending, and equipment installation.
- Diagnose electrical issues using schematics and testing devices; perform repairs or replacements as needed to restore system functionality.
- Assist with renovation projects by updating existing electrical infrastructure while ensuring compliance with safety codes.
- Collaborate with team members, contractors, and project managers to ensure timely completion of electrical tasks within project scope.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Construction/industrial electrician or in a similar construction-related electrical role.
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and electrical diagrams.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment used in electrical work.
- Ability to interpret technical instructions related to renovation or new construction projects.
- Hands-on experience with construction sites or industrial facilities is highly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills combined with handyman experience for versatile troubleshooting.
- Valid electrician’s license or certification as required by local regulations is preferred but not mandatory for entry-level candidates willing to learn.
