Construction Project Coordinator - Residential Infill
CA$70,000-CA$85,000, Based on Experience

As our project volume continues to grow, we are looking for a highly organized and collaborative Construction Project Coordinator to support our Project Manager and help keep our residential infill projects moving forward.
This is an important project support role for someone who enjoys organizing information, coordinating people, maintaining accurate project records, and following up until tasks are completed. You will work closely with the Project Manager, field teams, trades, suppliers, consultants, and internal staff to create greater visibility and consistency across our active projects.
About the Role
The Construction Project Coordinator will support the Project Manager with the daily coordination and administration required to successfully execute multiple residential construction projects. You will help ensure that project information is accurate, current, and accessible to the people who need it. You will maintain JobTread records, track daily activity, coordinate follow-ups, prepare project reports, and help connect activities across the office and field teams.
This role is not intended to replace the Project Manager. Instead, you will provide the organization, communication, and consistent follow-through that allows the Project Manager to focus on higher-level project decisions, trade management, budgeting, scheduling, and problem-solving.
Success in this position requires strong attention to detail, confidence working with project management software, and a highly collaborative approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Project Manager with the coordination and execution of active residential infill and multi-family construction projects
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project information in JobTread and other company systems
- Enter, review, and organize daily logs, project updates, photographs, documents, and activity records
- Track project tasks, milestones, deadlines, outstanding items, and required follow-ups
- Coordinate activities and information between the Project Manager, site teams, subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and internal departments
- Prepare regular project status reports and provide clear visibility into progress, delays, risks, and incomplete items
- Organize construction drawings, specifications, schedules, permits, inspection records, change documentation, and project correspondence
- Record meeting notes, distribute action items, and follow up with responsible parties to confirm completion
- Help maintain project schedules and communicate upcoming requirements to the appropriate team members
- Monitor JobTread workflows and identify records, updates, or documentation that are missing or out of date
- Assist with subcontractor, supplier, permit, inspection, and material coordination as directed by the Project Manager
- Support the preparation and organization of purchase orders, change orders, project files, and closeout documentation
- Communicate professionally and consistently with internal and external project partners
- Identify coordination issues early and bring them to the Project Manager's attention
- Help establish repeatable systems and processes that improve project organization and team accountability
- Ensure project information remains organized and accessible from project startup through completion
What You Bring
- Previous experience in construction project coordination, project administration, residential construction, or a related role
- Experience supporting a Project Manager, Construction Manager, or Site Superintendent
- Familiarity with residential, infill, multi-family, or land development construction is strongly preferred
- Experience using JobTread is a solid asset
- Confidence learning and working with construction management software and other digital programs
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and competing priorities
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate project records
- Strong written and verbal communication skills A proactive approach to follow-up- -you do not allow important tasks or unanswered questions to disappear
- The ability to collaborate effectively with office staff, field teams, trades, suppliers, and consultants
- Basic ability to read and understand architectural drawings, construction documents, schedules, and specifications
- Sound judgment and the confidence to raise concerns when project information is incomplete or inconsistent
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, email, and cloud-based document systems
- A positive, dependable, and professional attitude
- A diploma or degree in Construction Management, Architectural Technology, Engineering Technology, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred but not essential with relevant experience
- Ability to attend Edmonton-area project sites when required
Compensation and Benefits
- Full-time, salaried position
- CA$70,000-CA$85,000 annually, based on experience
