Duties

- Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to support their independence and comfort
- Administer medications accurately following established protocols and document all medication-related activities diligently
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to individual dietary needs, ensuring proper hygiene and food safety standards are maintained
- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, fostering a positive and engaging environment
- Perform light cleaning duties to maintain a safe, sanitary living space for residents and staff




- Support residents with mobility aids and transfers, promoting safety during movement within the facility or home setting
- Observe and report any changes in residents’ health or behavior promptly to the healthcare team for appropriate intervention

Qualifications

- Previous experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or providing home care is highly preferred
- Demonstrated experience caring for seniors or individuals with disabilities, including dementia care expertise
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures and safety protocols
- Solid caregiving skills combined with excellent communication abilities
- Ability to perform light cleaning tasks and meal preparation efficiently
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to improve the quality of life for others
- Certification as a Continuing Care Aide or equivalent is an asset; willingness to obtain necessary certifications if not already held
