We are seeking a licensed, contract Surveillance Investigator to join our team in Calgary.

This role is ideal for a motivated, adaptable investigator who is comfortable working independently, thrives in energetic environments, and is committed to producing high-quality investigative results. Key Responsibilities

- Conduct strategic mobile and stationary surveillance in urban and rural environments
- Accurately observe, document, and report investigative findings
- Produce clear, detailed, and timely written reports
- Conduct background investigations on individuals and corporations
- Adapt to varying schedules, including early mornings, occasional late evenings, and extended shifts
- Travel to various locations throughout Alberta, occasionally/as required
- Adhere strictly to MDSI’s investigative methods, standards, best practices, and code of ethics

Education Required

- Valid Alberta Private Investigator license
- Own discreet, nondescript vehicle suitable for surveillance operations
- Vehicle equipped with limo-tinted rear windows, or willingness to obtain prior to commencing surveillance
- Own camcorder (not a cell phone) with superior optical zoom & stabilization, a covert camera,



and a computer, or willingness to acquire this equipment over time (can borrow equipment to start).
- Confident, skilled driver with strong situational awareness
- Physically fit and capable of extended periods of surveillance, both in a vehicle and on foot
- Willing and able to work alone for prolonged periods
- Flexible availability with the ability to start early mornings on a regular basis

Compensation Other Requirements:

- Competitive hourly compensation plus mileage, disbursements, and travel expenses

Job Type: Part-time Pay: $25.00-$40.00 per hour
