Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Grill Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to delivering high-quality meals in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Grill Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking various grilled dishes while ensuring adherence to food safety standards and maintaining a clean kitchen workspace.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook menu items on the grill, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
- Assist in meal preparation by chopping, marinating, and seasoning ingredients as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grill station, including equipment and utensils.
- Monitor food temperatures to ensure proper cooking and food safety compliance.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Follow all food handling procedures to maintain hygiene and prevent contamination.
- Help with inventory management by reporting any shortages or needed supplies.




- Participate in training new kitchen staff on grilling techniques and food safety practices.

Experience

- Previous experience in a food service or restaurant environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations is essential.
- Familiarity with various cooking techniques, particularly grilling, is highly desirable.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively in a busy kitchen setting.
