Duties

- Food preparation for breakfast and lunch
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly
- Handle food safety procedures in accordance with health regulations to ensure safe food handling practices
- Support overall restaurant operations by assisting with cleaning duties, stock replenishment, and organizing supplies

Skills





- Previous retirement home or restaurant experience is preferred but not essential; eagerness to learn is highly valued
- Strong communication skills for effective teamwork and resident interactions
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience with kitchen equipment, cooking methods, and meal preparation techniques
- Hospitality or retirement home experience can be advantageous for understanding resident service expectations
