Cross-Border Auto Parts Driver

Full-Time | Approximately 30 Hours per Week

BC Diesel is looking for a dependable, organized, and professional driver to join our growing team. This is more than a delivery position. You will play an important role in keeping our inventory moving efficiently between our U.S. warehouse in Blaine, Washington and our Surrey, BC facility.

What You'll Do

Your primary responsibility will be transporting automotive parts safely and efficiently between our U.S. warehouse and our Surrey location.

Responsibilities include

- Pick up automotive parts from our warehouse in Blaine, WA, typically 4 to 5 days per week.
- Complete occasional local pickups, deliveries, and supplier returns throughout the Lower Mainland.
- Safely load, transport, and unload automotive parts.
- Complete customs and shipping documentation accurately.
- Ensure all CBSA import requirements are followed.
- Communicate with warehouse staff regarding pickups and scheduling.
- Maintain a clean and organized company cargo van.
- Handle inventory carefully and accurately.
- Loading and unloading at both our Surrey and Blaine warehouses.

Training will be provided for customs procedures, CARM, and our internal systems.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is dependable, organized, self-motivated, and takes pride in doing things properly.

Qualifications

- Valid Class 5 BC Driver's Licence.
- Clean driving record (ICBC Driver's Abstract required).
- Valid Canadian passport with the ability to travel regularly to the United States.
- Eligible to enter the United States.
- Criminal Record Check required as a condition of employment.
- Comfortable lifting up to 60 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Professional, courteous, and reliable.





Assets The following experience would be considered an asset but is not required:

- Previous commercial or delivery driving experience.
- Experience crossing the Canada/U.S. border for commercial purposes.
- Familiarity with CBSA import procedures.
- Experience using CARM (CBSA Assessment and Revenue Management).
- Forklift certification or experience.

Compensation & Schedule

- Full-time position averaging approximately 30 hours per week.
- Monday to Friday daytime schedule.
- Competitive hourly wage based on experience.
- Company cargo van provided during working hours.
