Join as a Substance Use Clinician dedicated to culturally sensitive mental health care. This impactful role focuses on enhancing access and treatment for Indigenous communities facing substance use issues. We are looking for a professional with a Master's degree and two years of relevant experience, equipped to provide trauma-informed support and navigate complex care systems.
You will work within a collaborative team to conduct assessments, recommend treatments, and lead group therapy sessions tailored for clients' needs, fostering a supportive setting. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform screenings to assess treatment readiness
- Gather comprehensive client information through interviews
- Provide crisis intervention and short-term support
- Develop treatment options and monitor progress
- Liaise with providers to optimize care paths Requirements:
- Master’s degree in a relevant field required
- Recent experience in mental health or crisis intervention
- Knowledge of Indigenous cultural issues and health approaches
- Valid driver’s license for transportation needs
