Responsibilities
- Review security alerts and assist with initial investigation and triage
- Monitor account, endpoint, cloud, and application security signals
- Document incidents, findings, evidence, and remediation actions
- Support access reviews, vulnerability tracking, and security assessments
- Help maintain security policies, procedures, and response playbooks
- Research emerging threats and communicate relevant risks
- Promote secure practices through clear guidance and internal documentation
Qualification
Required
- Foundational understanding of networking, operating systems, and security concepts
- Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills
- High degree of integrity and discretion when handling sensitive information
- Ability to prioritize alerts and follow established response procedures
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative remote environment
Preferred
- Degree, certification, coursework, or hands-on labs in cybersecurity or IT
- Familiarity with SIEM, endpoint security, identity, or vulnerability-management tools
- Knowledge of cloud security, common attack techniques, or security frameworks
- Security+, Google Cybersecurity Certificate, or a similar entry-level credential
