Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Cylindrical Grinder Polisher to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will operate and maintain cylindrical grinding and polishing equipment to produce precise, high-quality components. Your expertise will ensure that parts meet strict specifications and quality standards while supporting our commitment to manufacturing excellence.

Duties

- Responsible for setting up and operating grinding machine to shape and polish metal parts.
- Must be able to interpret technical drawigns, set up griding machines and adjust the cutting tools to achieve desired results
- work with a variety of metals
- able to read and use callipers, tape measure, micrometer for precision measuring
- should be able to read and understand blueprints, calculate dimensions needed for the job
- maintain workstation to ensure the machine and other equipment is in working order, keep a clean and safe workplace
- set up machine and load materials into it
- during machine operation, be able to ensure that the tool settings remain within tolerences by performing timely quality checks

Requirements





- Proven experience operating cylindrical grinders or similar machining equipment in a manufacturing setting
- Solid mechanical knowledge with the ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately
- Familiarity with polishing techniques and finishing processes for precision parts
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, calipers, micrometers, and other measurement devices effectively
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and quality assessments
- Knowledge of CNC programming, CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, or CNC programming is a plus
- Experience with welding (MIG welding), press brake machines, or SolidWorks is advantageous but not mandatory
- Ability to work safely with forklifts and warehouse equipment when necessary
- Understanding of lean manufacturing principles to optimize efficiency and reduce waste

Job is full-time permanent, Monday to Friday. Working hours are 8 am to 4:30 pm. Opportunity for overtime on Saturdays when required. Must provide own safety shoes. After 3 months, will be provided with uniform. Opportunity for dental and health care.

Wages are based on experience.
