Role Description This is a full-time, in office Data Engineer role based in the Greater Montreal Metropolitan Area.

The Data

Engineer will design, build, and maintain data pipelines that support property management operations and reporting. Daily responsibilities include developing and optimizing ETL processes, modeling and warehousing data from multiple internal and external sources, and ensuring data quality, reliability, and security. The role involves collaborating with operations, finance, and management teams to understand data needs, enabling accurate analytics and dashboards that support decision-making.

Engineer will also monitor performance, troubleshoot issues,



and contribute to continuous improvement of data architecture and best practices.

Qualifications

- Strong Data Engineering skills, including building and maintaining scalable data pipelines and solutions.
- Experience with Data Modeling and Data Warehousing to design efficient, well-structured data stores.
- Proficiency in Extract Transform Load (ETL) processes for integrating, cleansing, and transforming data from various sources.
- Ability to perform Data Analytics to support reporting, dashboards, and data-driven decisions.
- Hands-on experience with SQL and at least one programming language commonly used in data engineering (e.g., Python).
- Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases, and with cloud or on-premise data platforms.
- Knowledge of data governance, privacy, and security best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience in real estate, property management, or a related industry is an asset.
