About The Role Join BRP's central Data & Analytics team (DNA) as a Data Scientist, where you will play a pivotal role in transforming data into actionable insights that drive strategic decisions and innovative initiatives. This position offers a unique opportunity to work within a fast-paced, startup-like environment embedded within a successful global organization. As a Data Scientist at BRP, you will collaborate closely with product managers, business stakeholders, and technical teams to identify high-impact opportunities, develop predictive models, and implement data-driven solutions that enhance operational efficiency and customer engagement.

Your expertise will help unlock value across various business units, leveraging advanced analytics, machine learning, and AI technologies to solve complex problems and foster a culture of data-driven decision-making.

Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background and extensive hands-on experience in data science and machine learning. A master's degree (preferred) or bachelor's degree in Statistics, Data Science,



Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, or a related quantitative field is required. Candidates should have at least five years of practical experience applying data science techniques to solve real-world business challenges, with a proven track record of delivering measurable outcomes.

Technical proficiency in Python, SQL, and familiarity with ML platforms such as Dataiku, Databricks, or SageMaker is essential.

Experience with large language models (LLMs), APIs, and AI frameworks will be highly valued. Additionally, candidates should demonstrate strong communication skills, the ability to translate complex findings into compelling narratives, and a collaborative mindset to thrive within a dynamic team environment.

Responsibilities As a Data Scientist at BRP, your core responsibilities will include partnering with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize analytical opportunities, translating business questions into well-defined data science problems, and designing robust machine learning models. You will develop, validate, and deploy predictive models and statistical analyses, ensuring they are fair, interpretable, and aligned with business goals. Planning and executing rigorous experimentation, including A/B testing and causal inference studies, will be key to measuring model impact and business value.

Communicating complex analytical insights to non-technical stakeholders through compelling storytelling will be vital in influencing decision-making processes.



Staying current with the latest advancements in foundation models, large language models, and AI systems, and evaluating their applicability, will be part of your strategic contribution. You will also contribute to establishing best practices in MLOps, including model monitoring, drift detection, and retraining strategies, to ensure sustained model performance in production environments.
