Deli Clerk – De Luca’s South Landing

66 South Landing Drive, Oak Bluff, Manitoba De Luca’s Specialty Foods is looking for a motivated and friendly Deli Clerk to join our team at our South Landing location in Oak Bluff. As a Deli Clerk, you will be responsible for preparing and serving deli products while delivering exceptional customer service. You will help maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked deli department and contribute to an inviting shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

- Greet customers and provide friendly, knowledgeable service
- Prepare and serve deli items such as meats, cheeses, sandwiches, and ready-to-eat foods
- Slice, portion, and package products accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the deli area
- Restock display cases and ensure product presentation is appealing
- Monitor product freshness, rotation, and expiry dates
- Operate deli equipment safely (slicers, scales, etc.)




- Handle customer orders efficiently and accurately
- Follow all food safety and health regulations
- Assist with general store duties as needed

Qualifications

- Previous deli, food service, or retail experience is an asset (but not required)
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and positive attitude
- Ability to work in a quick-paced environment
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights
- Food handling certification is an asset
