Serving customers in the Deli Counter of a Retail Grocery store this position requires a person with strong customer service skills to serve and assist customers purchasing a variety of meats.

:

- Provides customer service, including greeting customers and answering their questions
- determine type & quantity of product desired by customer
- advise customer on specific product if requested, discuss quality
- prepare product for customer (weigh & package)
- assist in display of product in deli counter
- Complies with safety rules and safe food handling rules
- help to clean meat counter
- work in co-operation with other employees in a team environment
- maintain a good rapport with customers, co-workers; provide assistance when necessary

Requirements

- Customer service skills
- Good communication skills
- Second language would be an asset
- Meat slicer operation experience
- Ability to work in a busy, hectic setting
- Excellent personal hygiene
- Ability to follow the General Safety Rules and Food Safety Rules
- Some minor lifting required

Pay: $17.60-$18.25 per hour
