Jiva Organics Mfg & Dist. is an organic and natural food distributor in South Burnaby. We are seeking a friendly, skilled Delivery Truck Driver (5 ton truck) to deliver goods across the lower mainland. The ideal candidate will be able to both deliver orders to customers and assist the warehouse team with preparing orders for delivery. Typical work day is 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

- Operate and maintain 5 ton trucks to pickup and deliver products across the Lower Mainland in a safe yet timely manner.
- Perform pre-trip inspection of vehicle.
- Operate electric or manual pallet jacks as needed.
- Assist warehouse staff with preparing shipments as needed (wrapping pallets, checking orders, loading pallets, lifting/picking items (up to 50 lbs), picking and receiving orders as necessary, etc.)
- Assist in preparing delivery log sheets/routes with office staff.




- Off-load and pickup product to/from customers in a courteous manner and note any concerns.
- Record information on pickups and deliveries, vehicle mileage, fuel costs and/or any issues that may arise.
- Other duties as required

Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of driving experience operating 3 and/or 5 ton trucks preferred. Strong knowledge/comprehension of delivery area covering Lower Mainland in general
- Presentable appearance with friendly, outgoing personality, respectful, reliable, honest, motivated
- Clean drivers abstract and valid license (class 5)
- Able to adapt to a dynamic and multicultural environment
- Must be fluent in English
- High school diploma
