Duties

- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver products to various locations, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Load and unload shipments using proper moving techniques and equipment such as forklifts when necessary
- Assist in organizing and maintaining warehouse inventory, ensuring items are stored correctly and accurately tracked
- Provide outstanding customer service by communicating clearly with clients during deliveries and addressing any questions or concerns professionally
- Conduct routine inspections of delivery vehicles and warehouse equipment to ensure safety and functionality




- Collaborate with team members to coordinate delivery schedules and optimize routes for efficiency
- Perform heavy lifting tasks regularly, ensuring proper technique to prevent injury while handling goods of various sizes and weights

Skills

- Strong moving skills with the ability to lift heavy items safely and efficiently
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) or equivalent driving certification for qualified driving responsibilities
- Experience operating forklifts or willingness to obtain forklift certification upon hire
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers, team members, and supervisors
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred, demonstrating familiarity with inventory management and organizational procedures
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to safety standards
- Reliable transportation and a clean driving record are essential for this role
