Responsibilities

- Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and supplies, ensuring all equipment is sterilized and ready for procedures
- Assist dentists during various treatments, including cleanings, restorations, orthodontics, and pediatric procedures
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) using CAD (Computer-Aided Design) technology when needed
- Manage patient records accurately using dental software such as Dentrix or Epic, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with privacy regulations
- Provide excellent customer service as a dental receptionist by scheduling appointments, confirming patient details, and answering questions
- Educate patients on oral health care practices and post-treatment instructions in clear, understandable terms




- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to infection control protocols

Experience

- Previous experience in dental assisting or a related healthcare role is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Familiarity with dental software systems such as Dentrix or Epic is highly advantageous
- Knowledge of orthodontics and pediatrics procedures is a plus
- Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to dentistry enhances communication with team members and patients
- Experience working as a dental receptionist or in customer service roles demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a quick-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
