Dental Administrator / Sterilization Assistant

Job Type: Part time (with potential for additional hours)

We are looking for a friendly, organized, and dependable Dental Administrator / Sterilization Assistant to join our patient-focused dental hygiene team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys providing excellent customer service while supporting the clinical team in a fast-paced, professional environment.

Schedule

This position requires availability for:

- Thursday evenings
- Fridays
- Saturdays
- Possible Sundays as we may expand hours in the future

Responsibilities
- Welcome patients and provide exceptional customer service.
- Answer phones, schedule appointments, and manage the daily appointment schedule.
- Complete general administrative duties, including maintaining accurate patient records.
- Sterilize dental instruments and maintain infection prevention and control standards.
- Prepare treatment rooms and assist in keeping the clinic clean, organized, and fully stocked.
- Support the dental team to ensure efficient daily operations.
- Perform week-end clinic maintenance tasks.

Qualifications
- Previous experience in a dental office is a MUST.




- Experience with dental instrument sterilization and general administrative duties is a strong asset.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
- A positive attitude, reliability, and the ability to work well as part of a team.
- Independently manage tasks and time lines.
- Experience with AkituOne software is an asset.

Pay: From $21.00 per hour

Experience

- Dental receptionist: 1 year (preferred)
- sterilization technician: 1 year (preferred)
