Mueller’s Dental Arts Laboratory Prof. Corp. Inc. is an independent dental laboratory providing analogue and digital services in the fields of crown + bridge, implantology, ceramic restorations, and some orthodontics.
Mueller’s Dental Arts Laboratory is looking to hire a dental technician with technical proficiency in both the old school and new school technologies to join our team. An ideal candidate would have familiarity with all parts of the production workflow and would be someone able to take a case from start to finish, whether the case starts from a scan or an impression. Applicants are required to have at least 3 to 5 years experience with dental ceramics. Applicants with no experience with dental ceramics will not be considered at this time.
This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of dental materials and procedures. The position offers an opportunity to work in a collaborative environment dedicated to improving patient restoration outcomes through high-quality craftsmanship.
Responsibilities
- Fabricate dental restorations such as crowns, bridges, and veneers based on detailed specifications and patient needs
- Prepare model work for prosthetic fabrication using appropriate materials and techniques
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laboratory workspace
- Follow safety protocols related to handling dental materials and equipment
- Working directly with patients or chairside to facilitate custom colour matches
Experience
- At least 3 to 5+ years previous laboratory experience in a dental laboratory setting with ceramics is necessary
- Familiarity with CAD/CAM and exocad software used in dental design is a plus
- Experience working with dental materials such as ceramics, composites, or metals is advantageous
- Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to work accurately under deadlines are essential skills for success in this role
A hands-on assessment will be part of the interview process. Job Types: Full time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $28.00-$35.00 per hour
