Job Summary/Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher (Level 3) to create a nurturing and engaging learning environment for young children! Pay will be ~$25.00 after top-up.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education, excellent communication skills, and the ability to foster developmental growth. This role involves acting as a room lead, planning and implementing educational activities, supporting children's social and emotional development, and collaborating with parents and staff to ensure a positive classroom experience.

Responsibilities

- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with educational standards and individual student needs.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity and learning.
- Support children's social, emotional, and behavioral development through positive guidance strategies.
- Assess and document children's progress, providing regular feedback to parents and guardians.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan activities, share best practices, and improve program quality.
- Maintain classroom organization, cleanliness, and safety standards at all times.




- Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress, behavior, and developmental milestones.
- Utilize computer skills for record keeping, lesson planning, and communication purposes.

Requirements

- Proven experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting; classroom experience is highly preferred.
- Solid knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices.
- Ability to demonstrate leadership, organizational skills, time management, and classroom management techniques.
- Excellent writing skills for documentation and parent communication.
- Proficiency in computer operation, including basic computer skills for record keeping and lesson planning.
- Level 3 Childcare certification or relevant early childhood education credentials are mandatory.
