What we offer

- Hourly wage: $38.49 to $46.43 per hour
- Shift premiums: evening $1.50 per hour, night $2.00 per hour

Your responsibilities

- Perform inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on locomotives
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic failures
- Use maintenance procedures, technical manuals, and tools to ensure safe and reliable operations
- Ensure all work complies with maintenance programs and rail safety standards
- Meet and exceed Transport Canada regulatory requirements

What we’re looking for

- A vocational diploma in heavy duty mechanics, diesel mechanics, automotive mechanics




- Experience with diesel and/or internal combustion engines
- Experience and/or certification in heavy rail equipment repairKnowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems
- Journeyperson certification or Red Seal is an asset

Schedule

- Permanent position (40 hours per week)
- Variable schedule (days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays)
- Overtime available
