We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher / Kitchen Steward to join our kitchen team at our South Landing location in Oak Bluff.

Position Summary The Dishwasher plays a vital role in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen. This individual will be responsible for washing dishes, sanitizing food preparation areas, assisting with cleaning duties, and supporting kitchen staff as required.

Responsibilities

- Wash dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment
- Operate commercial dishwashing equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the kitchen
- Sweep and mop floors as required
- Remove garbage and recycling
- Assist with receiving and storing deliveries
- Support kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks when needed
- Ensure compliance with food safety and workplace safety procedures




- Perform other cleaning and kitchen support duties as assigned

Qualifications
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Reliable transportation to Oak Bluff is an asset
- Previous kitchen or dishwashing experience is an asset but not required
- Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed
