Hello! We are a small neighbourhood bakery located in the Dunbar–Southlands area of Vancouver, near Kerrisdale and UBC. We enjoy making good bread and pastries and serving our lovely neighbours. We are currently looking for a part time Dishwasher/Kitchen helper. Join our dynamic kitchen team as a Dishwasher/Kitchen Helper, where your energy and attention to detail will keep our bakery operations running smoothly!

Responsibilities

- Efficiently wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, and cookware to uphold food safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen workstations, floors, and storage areas to ensure a hygienic environment.
- Support kitchen staff by organizing supplies and ensuring all items are ready for service.
- Follow proper food safety protocols and handling procedures at all times to prevent contamination.
- Help with waste disposal and recycling efforts in accordance with health regulations.

Qualifications

- Previous experience in a bakery cafe,



or restaurant is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key!
- Basic knowledge of food handling, safety procedures, and sanitation standards.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and organization.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team setting.
- Familiarity with baking, cooking, or kitchen experience is a plus but not mandatory.
