Duties

- Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment promptly and thoroughly to maintain high standards of cleanliness and food safety
- Assist with food handling tasks such as sorting, organizing ingredients, and preparing basic food items under supervision
- Support meal preparation by setting up workstations, organizing supplies, and assisting chefs with prep work as needed
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen by sweeping floors, wiping counters, and disposing of waste properly
- Help with restocking supplies and ensuring all areas of the kitchen are organized for efficient workflow




- Follow all food safety protocols and hygiene standards to ensure a secure environment for staff and customers
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy hours and contribute positively to the kitchen atmosphere

Experience

- Prior restaurant or food service experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key!
- Familiarity with basic cooking techniques and meal preparation is a plus
- Experience in food handling or working in a commercial kitchen environment is advantageous
- Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards is beneficial
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting colleagues in busy periods
