Responsibilities

- Efficiently wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to uphold cleanliness standards
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping, peeling, or organizing ingredients under supervision
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, including counters, sinks, and storage areas
- Support food handling procedures by adhering to food safety guidelines and proper sanitation practices
- Help with organizing supplies and restocking items to ensure smooth kitchen operations




- Dispose of waste properly and ensure recycling protocols are followed
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and support meal preparation when needed

Experience

- Prior experience working in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and willingness to learn
- Familiarity with basic cooking techniques or meal preparation is a plus
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures is advantageous
- Previous kitchen experience or exposure to the food industry can help you excel in this role
- Ability to follow instructions carefully and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
