Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Dishwasher/Kitchen Helper to join our dynamic food service team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will support food preparation and service operations, ensuring the highest standards of food safety and cleanliness are upheld. Previous experience in a restaurant or food industry setting is a plus, but we welcome applicants eager to learn and grow within the culinary field.

Responsibilities

- Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to ensure cleanliness and readiness for use

- Assist with basic meal preparation and food handling tasks under supervision

- Support kitchen staff with food prep activities such as chopping, assembling ingredients, or portioning dishes

- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, floors, and storage areas to meet health and safety standards





- Ensure proper disposal of waste and recyclables in accordance with sanitation guidelines

- Follow all food safety protocols to prevent contamination and ensure a safe environment for staff and customers

- Assist with setting up dining areas and clearing tables as needed during service hours

Experience

- Prior experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required

- Knowledge of cooking techniques, meal preparation, and food handling practices is advantageous

- Familiarity with food safety standards within the food industry is desirable

- Previous kitchen experience including serving or food prep roles will be considered a strong asset

- Willingness to learn current skills related to food service operations and kitchen safety

Pay: $17.60-$18.00 per hour
