Our client is a leading distributor of fresh flowers and floral products, supplying major grocery and retail chains across Canada. We are currently hiring a Night Dispatcher to join their overnight logistics team in Mississauga. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with dispatch or logistics experience who enjoys working in a rapid-paced environment and has strong organizational and communication skills.

In this role, you'll coordinate driver departures, verify shipment documentation, monitor deliveries, and ensure all routes are dispatched accurately and on schedule. Since you'll be communicating with both English- and Spanish-speaking drivers, fluency in both languages is required.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate driver departures and ensure routes leave on schedule.
- Review route lists and verify that drivers have the correct invoices.
- Confirm invoice totals and identify any discrepancies.
- Verify Costco racks and Loblaws skids against pick sheets and invoices.




- Ensure drivers count and sign off on their loads before departure.
- Track drivers using GPS software and monitor deliveries throughout the shift.
- Follow up with drivers experiencing delays and report issues to the supervisor.
- Maintain accurate dispatch records and communicate operational updates.

Qualifications

- Minimum 1 year of experience in dispatch, logistics, transportation, or warehouse operations.
- Fluent in both English and Spanish (required).
- Strong computer skills and comfortable using GPS or dispatch software.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Comfortable working overnight shifts.
- Able to work in a cold environment (0°C to 5°C).

- Overtime paid after 44 hours ( 1.5x hourly rate )
